aMSN problems

I have no idea where to put this, 'cause I'm kind of in a hurry, so my apologies go out to anyone inconvenienced.

Anyway, I've got a problem with aMSN Portable. I install it on my USB, run it, and everything goes fine. But when I plug out my USB (closing the program before, of course) and plug it back in and run it again, my display pic disappears. Even worse, when I repeat the plug-out-plug-in procedure again, ALL my settings are lost (e.g. window size etc.). Same happens when I change the drives aMSN Portable is in, but this time the "aMSNPortable\App\aMSN\scripts\amsn_received" folder gets left behind.

I'd appreciate any help with this, 'cause I really like aMSN but I hate it when this kind of crap happens. Thanks.
