Just wondering if anyone knows what windows theme or skin is used to get the grey/black looking windows that they use in their pictures for examples?

You need to patch your uxtheme.dll, I believe. Search around for "patched uxtheme"--you'll find it.

I just didnt think that there would be a problem, because I had installed a blue-ish theme before... I believe it was an .exe though...

If that blue theme is Royale ("Media Center style"), then that makes sense. It's an official theme from Microsoft, so it's digitally signed by them. Unofficial themes like RoyalFour aren't, for obvious reasons. The UxTheme patch makes it so you can use unsigned themes.

For some reason I can't make that royale-modded to work, maybe I am doing something wrong, any hints on what to do with that file?
did u patch the uxtheme file? there are a couple of patchers. The file is locked by default, and to use modded themes you must patch it.
