Do Extensions, Plugins need to be installed for TBP AND...Firefox ?

I see the EXACT same plugin or Extension,
Available for firefox AND Thunderbird.

Do we need to install a second copy if things like Adblock
in Thunderbird ?
Even though I have it in firefox, but it's not usually running.
And Thunderbird is a seperate App.
So you end up with an extension or pluging,
Installed in Firefox AND another one in Thunderbird.

When you read the description, if you are at firefox addons
it says for firefox.

If you are at Thunderbird addons, it says for Thunderbird.
But it seems to be the same version and everything..

Seperate Copies

Yes, you do in fact need to install a copy for both Firefox and Thunderbird. Sometimes the plugin is tweaked differently for each program, and there's various other reasons as well.
