I thought I'd suggest a package that might interest some people (seen here): Go-oo.
It's a fork of everyone's favorite OpenOffice.org, but claims to run with vastly reduced load times. I know there are many forks out there, but this one seemed relevant, as many users might benefit from a lesser load time when running off of a USB device. Go-oo apparently has trimmed some of the new functionality of Oo.o 3, although still keeping much of the utility, while even also claiming to add additional features.
Can anyone suggest how a person might (on their own, with no responsibility to PortableApps) utilize the existing OpenOfficePortable framework, replacing the "core" with Go-oo?
