How do I import account information and mail from a Windows Live Mail client?

Found out that Windows Live Mail stores the emails as .eml individual messages.
I found some comments about import/export plugins.
Found a plugin ImportExportTools at https://nic-nac-project.de/~kaosmos/mboximport-en.html
I downloaded this plugin and installed it
It provides extra menus in the tools menu. Import .eml files being one of them.
Tried it and works fine.
I tried to find an answer earlier but I didn't so thanks for posting it here.
