The file association feature only works if Xenon is installed on C:.
My situation is, my Portable Apps are on F:, and I boot several C:'s, starting the same apps on F:. So, I can't start files by clicking on them in Xenon.

It's designed to work with associated apps only within the same drive. So, if Xenon is installed on F, it works with apps on F. These are portable apps and designed to all interact within a single device.
