3.04 search plugins not functioning, enter or click does nothing, enter or click with nothing in the box leads to root page. Reset to default and deleted sqlite file as suggested in firefox livechat help. Still nothing.
a clean install functions, the error is somewhere in the profile.
What files relate to the search bar? I would like to delete them or copy over defaults from. I must keep my profile.
I wish this forum had email notify.

Or worked around at least. I just got a fresh FireFox portable folder and moved over the contents of the profile folder that I wanted to keep.
So far it appears to be a perfect duplicate.

I had exactly the same problem as described by innomen. I just cross-checked file by file with a newly installed version and found that the files "formhistory.*" in the profile folder caused this. The problem was solved by simply deleting those files.
Filename "formhistory.sqlite" sounds like a window settings database to me.

I did a search and deleted all (three) files named "formhistory.*" and it solved immediately this problem that's been driving me crazy for weeks.
