FAQ: synching PA with local files?

Will someone, please, point me to the FAQ that shows how to synch-up PortableApps with with desktop apps?

I need to be able to synch Bookmarks, data files, etc.

Also, is there a way to share settings, such as in Firefox so that they both perform the same way?

It can be done

I dont have the expertise to explain this correctly but I know for Thunderbird and Firefox it can be done by simply copying over the profiles. Heres the basic outline of what I do - https://portableapps.com/node/13615#comment-83852

One more thing is to change the default profile that Thunderbird/Firefox local versions use so as to ensure they use the "profile" folder you copy from your USB. If you are not able to figure it out from here post to let me know and I'll see if I can rig something a bit more comprehensive with regards to instructions.
