Toucan 2.0.2 very slow in drawing screen

I just installed Toucan 2.0.2 from 1.2.2 and the new version is very slow when drawing the screen. Also, the app seems to take forever and a day to launch compared to 1.2.2.

what way do you mean 'slow at drawing to the screen'? Is this all the time or just when filling the progress box?
