V2.0.2 & 2.0.3 backup update problems

The following all refers to Backup in update mode

This exists in V2.0.2 & V2.0.3

I get this error message:

System error:
Not implemented

When ever I use backup in the "update" mode when I have two or more folders off of the root drive. It finishes the first folder but when it gets to the next it stops and gives the above error. If only one folder is used it's OK. Didn't get this in V2.0.0 or V2.0.1. This happens on the second run of the update. The original run of the backup is good.

Example:
If a job includes this:

E:\Folder1\(files)
E:\Folder2\(files)

It results in System error message when processing the Folder2 files.
--------------------------------------
I have also noticed on all V2 versions, that if a file(s) is removed from a folder in the source it doesn't get removed from the backup file, it only seems update files that get changed or added. I would like to see that the update backup file contains the exact files/folder contents as the source.

Hmm

that is odd, which backup mode are you using, 7-Zip or Zip? As for your request I shall look into it, thanks Smile

7-ZIP

Steve,

Seems to have to do with using 7-zip, though it wasn't a problem in V200 or V201. I just tried it using ZIP and it went through with no problem. The only thing that I wish it would do regardless of compression, is remove files from the backup if they are removed from the source.

Example:

I just did a test with backing up two folders. After the initial backup, I moved one file from one of the folders to the other. After the 2nd backup the same file is in both folders in the backup file.

OK

I think I know what is causing the first bug, I shall look into it.

As for the second I shall try and work out the best way of doing this, thanks for the suggestion.
