a windows application compatability layer for linux operating systems. and it is not portable. also there is a WINE for windows that allows you to install certian linux programs onto the windows platform.
please note that both of these are not complete, they are both buggy, they are both not full compatability layers so some programs wont run, and finally, they are not portable.
