Common Profile for multiple Firefox instalations

I usually use 2 computers, but sometimes I need to work on others. I have installed Firefox Portable on my USB flash drive and works well on both computers. The only problem is I have difficulty making FFP the default web browser. I guess, since it is portable, maybe it's not supposed to be.

So, what I would like to do is install full Firefox on the 2 machines and configure them to use the profile that is on the USB flash drive (with FFP). In this way all 3 Firefoxes would use the same profile. Only one computer is used at a time. Is this feasible?
If so, how would I do the configuration for the full Firefox?
Thanks

The INI, I believe.

I can't verify this for myself as I'm currently away from home, but you may be able to do it with the INI. See Other\Source\readme.txt.

The .ini section referred to

The .ini section referred to in the Others\source\readme.txt is for making changes to the FFP. My FFP doesn't need changing, it works fine as it is. What I would like to do is install full Firefox on my two machines and configure them to use the profile in FFP on the USB flash drive.

Oh.

My apologies, I misread it as you wanted to link two other copies of FFP to another.

No, I want to link 2 copies

No, I want to link 2 copies of FF on separate computers to one FFP.

EspaÑaks (not verified)
make a temporal copy of each

make a temporal copy of each FF shorcut, properties, click on the route & add "-profilemanager", accept, double-click it, select default, delete, create new, fill as you like, select "custom folder" & point it to your usb

As mentioned before, I have

As mentioned before, I have one working copy of FFP on my USB flash drive. I now installed FF on one computer and then followed your instruction to link it to the FFP profile. I did it and appears to work. Both look the same now. The FF on the hard disk appears a little snappier as expected.
The second FF installation needs to wait for tomorrow. So far so good.
Thanks a lot so far.

I have now installed Firefox

I have now installed Firefox (not portable) onto my second computer and configured it to use the FFP profile, the same as on the first computer.
Great, appears to work fine.
Thank you very much for the help.
