Sync cannot overwrite files with read only attribute

Hi,

I have tried to "Sync" in "Equalise" mode with "Retain Timestamps", "Retain Attributes", "Ignore Read-Only" flags switched on. It has started to synchronise two (almost the same) folders and after a while an error message was shown that some file could not be overwritten because the access was denied. I have checked the files showing this error message and they were read-only. Is this an error or I have just did something wrong?

Anyway, thank you for the program and its updates!

Best regards,
Pavel

Hmm,

I shall have a look into this, the Ignore Read-Only flag should allow this, do you have the permissions to make the files as being not read only?

I'm having this problem too.

I'm having this problem too. Any files with Read attributes eventually cause issues.

It's not so much a problem with the actual source and destination file, but I think the problem is that the "Toucan.tmp" file becoming read only. Then it does not get deleted, which then causes problems for the next file to be copied.

I

there a way for me to reproduce this? I have tried folders with mixtures of read only and non read only files and I cannot reproduce this.
