Problem: This new version 2.6.5 like its predecessor 2.6.4 does not function when installed as an upgrade, only if installed seperately.

since I was just updating the ususal way (installing new version over the other) and dont see any problems so far. All settings (if I managed to store any ;-)) are still here and all works as expected.
What is the exact problem? Pls describe more and sure someone will help you with that.

I also installed the new version over the old one, and it shows the start up picture, and then it stops. This also occurred with the previous version.
Now I have Vista so I even get a message telling me that it stopped, and asking me either to close the program, or go online to find a solution. Even when choosing the second option nothing happens.
What additional information do you need?
The only way to get it to work is to install it separately, not as an upgrade.
Therefore, first the old version has to be removed from the PortableApps folder, and then the new one can be installed.
