I remamber I was able to rip CD to mp3 with infra rec.
Now I have updated to last version, installed the addon for mp3, but can not find stil how to rip.
Is this still working?

No idea,

but have you tried BonkEnc Portable?
I use it for cd-ripping. It's fast, it adds the track informations (artist, title, album,...), it supports ogg, mp3, flac...

it looks fine and works. I had it on my stick, but have not used it so far I think. But it does all I just wanted. Thanks

Not sure

Because I use 0.441 still. BUT, I read that starting in 046 in the changelog it says, Added a welcome screen to the InfraRecorder main application and removed the express application. Since I use the older version, and you are probably aware of this, but, I click "other" then manage tracks, click the lower left corner, highlight a track and choose from the drop down list the format I want, and click settings, I have the mp3 plugin 042. as stated on the Main app Page. THat is probably how you done it too. If you get it let me know please, this is one reason I have not upgraded.

yes, you deadly right!

Finaly I found the way where the things are hiding.
Yes, I have updated at some time to 46, but did not look at the thing closely so since the appearance somehow changed and I use it only sometimes, I got kind of confused here...

But OK, all is still there, but few things just look differently. The encoder works too fine.

But OK, the BonkEnc is also nice, probably for the ripping task even better since it is his main job.
