If you use the search feature in the upper right hand corner you will note that this has been mentioned before.
It should be pointed out that the tool in question is similar to the Malicious Software Removal Tool from Microsoft and the Stinger Tool from McAfee. I use all 3 in my arsenal
It, and they, are not a replacement for Real Time Antivirus protection. They can only remove a very limited number of viruses.

As the MS MSRT is updated every month on Patch Tuesday it might be a little bit more reliable.
