This would make my third response for Free Download Manager in the same night, and at this point (thorough searches returned hardly any results) Which means there's not enough demand for it. With that said, there is a "portable option" available, but last time I've tried the settings were still written to registry and application profile, which is not very portable at all!
A launcher is very welcome.

It is easy to settle on these, I personally find download statusbar and downthemall perfect for me, as I use firefox all the time, now they're not much use if you don't use firefox. WinWGet is fine for basics needs, and it's very lightweight but Free Downloader should also be included in the Portable Apps arsenal.
