is it possible to implement the following idea
rather than just the 3 suites to be able to download on the site couldn't you use a check box list to make a dynamic JavaScript based code to download a suite which contained the applications a person wants only.
or
a "add to cart" like system where you add each program for download to a cart and when u are ready to start downloading u "complete" the transaction the server uses a dynamic code to create a .tar or other type of archive for download and sends that to the user. (a variation of this would be a self extracting archive wrapped in the portable apps launcher installer thingy)
i believe this would be repetitively easy as all you would need is a copy of non compressed data on the server and when you decided on downloading you could simply wrap the data and send it to the user. i realize that you use a very large infrastructure to host this site and am giving this as an example HFS or http file server/home file server has the option of downloading an entire folder as a .tar archive if this is possible on a small scale how difficult could this be for your system to do?
thanking you in advance for your opinions and not flaming my idea as soon as you see it

well... it's kind of been discussed before and really it wouldn't work to well with the site IMHO. But if you download the platform only and get the PortableApps.comUpdater in the betatest forums you can not only update the apps you have but also install new ones with it

It's an abbreviation for the phrase, "In my humble opinion", much like "sry" is an abbreviation for "sorry" and "b4" is short for before.
Here's a great link to a dictionary of these texting abbreviations:
