Portable Partition Software

Is there a portable partitioning software? The only ones I have found on google are ones on live cds or ones you have to pay for. It would help me a lot if you could make one. Thank you

Most, if not all

Most, if not all partitionning software running under Windows requires admin rights on the system. The best way to do partitions is to run a non-persistent (Live) OS on which you always have enough privileges.

Consider Parted Magic a good solution for what you need.

no there is not

all partitioning tools need reboot of the whole system anyway, so there is no point to make them portable in the sense of portable apps.

Changes to partition data have to be done when the system is not running.
So even there are some tools which do kind of pretend they work under windows, they just change the partition type so the operating system can not use that partition during the process. Then the system has to be restarted completely, to reset the partition type to the original.
Therefore the only sense is to have a bootmedia, like CD, with its own OS and the partitioning software on it.

There is one thing: 'swissnife' it is called AFAIK, and works from windows GUI entirely, can be done partially portable, but again, it can not do operations on any system partition.
