In the My Computer the is a seperated dir with my name, in it there is a small icon for the mp4 player, but i cannot give this way to the installer. What should is do?

MTP Mode

Your MP3 player is probably showing itself to Windows as a media player rather than as an external drive. It's using Media Transfer Protocol and applications can not be run from devices over this connection.

Most devices include the ability to switch to standard USB mode at which point Windows will assign it a drive letter and you'll be able to use it with PortableApps.com. If you check the instructions online for your player, you should be able to find out if it supports it. Or you can browse through the menus on the player itself. It's usually called something like "Connection Mode" and often has options for UMS, MTP or AUTO. Pick UMS.

Oh, and welcome to PortableApps.com Smile

Thanks for the quick answer. I will try, and write down the result.

This application is looks like very good, gratulation for it!

Edit: Now i see my mp4 write while it is connected to PC: "Connected USB (MTP)", so you are right.

Edit 2: I read the mp4 player manual, and the author write if i connect the mp4 player to the pc with the original USB cabel (i have it) than i can easyly copy files and other stuffs into it with Total Commander for example. But i cant, because total commander dont see it also, ive already tried it.

Setting

It's not the cable. Nor is it anything to do with Windows or Total Commander. It's a setting you need to change on your MP4 player itself, if there is one. There may not be, in which case you can't use your player for portable software.

If your MP4

is like some American made ones, there should be an way to change it within the options menu of the player. You might be able to change it from msc to mtp or vice versa. I have a 4gb RCA and mine has this setting.
