I'm using the portable version of Firefox. If I were to install the non portable version on my desktop what would I have to do to transfer my portable version settings to the desktop installation?

In general, the settings for regular Firefox are stored in
C:\Documents and Settings\{user}\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\{randomcode}.default(or something similar)
and those for the portable version are in
For the most part, just copy the files. Make backups first, in case "just copy" breaks something. WinMergePortable might help.

You can also set this as a sync job in Toucan to make it quicker and easier for ongoing use.
