Changelog?

Hi,

I'm the happy user of Toucan. It's being used several places. Simple and easy!

But I really wish there was a changelog.

I had a bad experience with a change some time ago, so it would be really nice if there were information about version changes.

Right now it looks like a minor change 2.0.3 to 2.0.4, but I can see that 2.0.4 doesn't work in Win98, so it seems like there have been quite a few changes.

Thanks for a great product!

Agreed

With this would also be option to create, browse and remove all logs. Could give the settings tab a bit more usage.

Didn't see the news post

Didn't see the news post. Just did a search for changelog.

Could you link to the changelog/news posts from the product page?

In

reality nothing has changed with regards to Win9x in Toucan, simply the fact that support has been dropped, in theory it should work. Now at the moment it doesn't but I will be sending some test builds to a user who has kindly agreed to help shortly.

So what do you want to see in a changelog that isn't on the news page?

Drop It

I thought you'd said you were going to just drop it. If you work through the issue now and it works in Windows 98 again... when it stops working the future, someone will come to you again and ask why it doesn't and how to fix it. Even if we leave off Windows 98 as a 'supported' operating system, if you support it with fixes and patches, you're going to have to keep supporting it.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

Because

I would like a version of 2.x that works and I can call the last supported version, and you are exactly right, once this is sorted it will be left. I just dont want to leave a 1.x version as the last supported version.
