Adding already installed portable apps to the PortableApps.com menu

Hi all ,

First of all , thank you very much for this wonderful platform , but I have noticed some lacks and some things that are needed to be added.

My main concern is that , I have already installed other portanble applactions like Adobe Photoshop Portable , RealPlayer Portable , Yahoo! Messenger portable and others ...so my main concern here Am I able to add these programs to the PortableApps.com platform menu?

U3 platform already has a U3 shortcut creator (http://usb.smithtech.us/) that allows to install non-U3 programs and in Ceedo there is InstallAnything function that allows to add other programs.

So can you add a function to the platform in order to allow us install more portable programs even if they don't end with the file format *paf.exe? or can you at least create a shortcut for the program on the menu?

One more thing , why Can't PortableApps.com menu launch automatically on USB drive start up?

Regards,

Yesar

Just move your other apps to the right location and the PortableApps.com Platform will pick them up:

PortableApps.com comes up with a prompt to launch it on drive insertion (as does Ceedo and others). U3 used a hardware trick to make Windows think it was a CDROM and autorun it. But that security hole has been closed in Vista and not even CDs will autorun in Vista, Windows 7 and later Windows operating systems.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
