I don't know who I should be telling but I am frequently seeing a warning message at the top of the page saying The selected file /var/www/vhosts/portableapps.com/httpdocs/tmp/filev2h35O could not be copied.

Many websites get problems like these once in a while. If you use XAMPP or just Apache alone, when there is a server problem it give similar messages. It normally only temporary.
