Welcome to portableapps.com

Welcome to portableapps.com
We do not give dates for when stuff is finished, but its certainly being worked on.
In the meantime, you could try http://www.pendrivelinux.com/ to see if you can find a good/easy tutorial on how to make one yourself.
Unfortunately, thats all I have to offer you.... sorry.
Also, as a reminder, you might want to search first next time. Gives you an answer faster, for example, https://portableapps.com/search/node/linux, the 8th result is almost identical to your question.
I hope this helps you, and have a nice day!!!

EDIT: I just found this thread, it has some more links and might be useful to you.

There is no 1 perfect version of linux for everyone. There are many different types of linux and many ways to install it. I am looking forward to it being released in opperating systems alongside mac classic. If your having a hassle with it you might have a hassle with it if it is released. I could not seem to get mac to work.

most distros have

portable version. Try some ubuntu for exmple.
You just take your stick, run the app and your stick has portable linux on it.
But is this what you want? You have to have PC which will actually support booting from usb stick ? still there less then 50% of PC out capable of it.

Or do you want run linux in virtual machine? Then take for example virtual box portable and install your linux into it. Finish.

Or use the Quemu launcher here: https://portableapps.com/node/13944

remember: linux is not an application, it is an operating system, so you can not run it under windows except you run it in a virtual machine environment.
This is what many people forget, they thing there exist something like linux for windows, which simply does not.
