GIMP: ToolBox Tools as ToolBar and ToolBox Tabs as sidebar?

Is it possible to to have the ToolBox Tools to be a separate toolbar and also have the ToolBox tabs to be a sidebar???

Here is a quick example of what I would like to see.

Nope

GIMP doesn't support this. It doesn't even technically support being in a single window (we have an addon to do that). Many people have asked for this. The GIMP developers may or may not do it.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

How about something like this instead. Or maybe docking the toolbox to the outside of the window?
