Fax is ancient technology. Efax is a service that you subscribe to and use Efax's software. There are plenty of companies that offer this service so that you upload your doc on the web and it's faxed out. I send about 4 faxes per year and never receive them. I use a company that lets me send up to 4 faxes per month for free. After I upload the Word/PDF, it asks for the tel.no. and my email address, within 15min I receive an email confirmation that it was delivered.
