Ok, anytime I open a link in an email or on Thunderbird, Firfox pops up like it has none of my settings. I have to go open Firefox first, then click on the link to use the portable app as my browser. I have tried multiple times to set Firefox as my default without success. Firefox is not installed on the computer either, just on the flash. Any ideas?

Firefox Portable is not meant to be set as a default because that does include storing settings on the local PC which is not portable. There are people trying to create workarounds but for now, the safest way is to open Firefox first like you said, but unfortunately that method isn't very convenient
