PMW (Process Manager For Windows)

Website
License: Copyrighted, alterations are allowed.

Free application Process Manager adds an entry to your right-click context menu that adjusts an application's priority or kills the app. Once Process Manager is running, the kill and priority options are only available when you've right-clicked a window's taskbar item. That's pretty much all there is to it. The app runs in your system tray and eats less than 1MB of RAM. While Process Manager doesn't do anything you can't already do from the Windows Task Manager, it does provide quicker access to a couple of handy functions and is worth a try if you do much force-quitting.

This version of PMW adds following menus to system menu of any application. [System menu: when you right click on any application in taskbar, you see a menu with options close, minimize, maximize, that is called "System menu"]

  1. Kill : Just right click on any application in taskbar and click on "Kill", no need to go to task manager any more
  2. Priority: Just right click on any application in taskbar and change the priority of your process, no need to go to task manager any more.
  3. Hide me: Right click on any application in taskbar and click Hide me, this will remove application from task bar and they will not be visible even on Alt+Tab , Only way to bring them back will right clicking on the PM icon in tray, there will be a pop menu "Unhide", select the app u want to Unhide.
  4. Hide Others : This option will hide all other applications other than the window from your right clicked and said "Hide others"
  5. Always on top : Put any window on top [added after request from users]
  6. Minimize to system tray : Minimize any application to your tray [added after request from users]
  7. Transparency: Set the transparency of any window. [added after request from users]

This version of PMW also adds following items to tray menu of its own.

  1. Hide Me: This will hide PM'Ws icon from tray, to restore this icon back launch PMW once again and that would restore the old instance pf PMW icon back in tray. [added after desparate request from users]
  2. Hide All : Right Click on PMW's tray icon and click on Hide all, and see the magic yourelf Wink
  3. Unhide All : Yes you guess it right Smile
