Portable App Gone?

Hi, I had a portable app on my usb awhile ago, and now its gone. It was a program where it scans and tells me what hardware is only computer, as well as software. Now its gone from my usb and its not online anymore. Does anyone know the name of that program? Why isnt it for download anymore? Thanks

Did you download it from here?

I'm not sure exactly what you are referring to, since the official apps don't have that functionality.
Check on this page:
https://portableapps.com/development/test
to see if anything rings a bell.

However, this app on portablefreeware.com seems close to what you are are asking for:

I made this half-pony, half-monkey monster to please you.

Sounds

like Belarc advisor, which I believe is freeware. There is also System Information
Windows or SIW that is pretty neat, freeware as well. Both display alot of info about your system, most of which is really too technical for me, but neat to actually see.
I believe Belarc installs, but SIW is a standalone app, works great on a USB flash drive. Smile

Thanks for that.

Excellent app. Thanks for the link

Edit: Any Idea how to get this to show up in the PortableApps menu?

To show up …

Any Idea how to get this to show up in the PortableApps menu?

To make it show up in the menu, install the program on your computer, and copy the folder «SIW» from C:\Program Files\ to x:\PortableApps\ – and voilà!

WinAudit

Could be SIW, as mentioned earlier, could also be WinAudit. They both display loads of info.
