Can i just download the enig form of TB to see what it is like and if i dont care to use the enig features, then i can just use it as regular TB and not use the encryption features?

Yeah, feel free to try it out. If you don't like it, uninstall the enigmail extension within PTB and then delete your GPG directory within the App directory to save space.
