Are these portable?

1. AveDesk. I guess this one is not.
2. Rainmeter, Rainlendar.
3. Does desktopx gadget write entry? I just know it'll store some files in folder Application Data.
4. filzip. I changed the setting into the ini file and deleted the entry under current user. However, when I run it from my flash drive, it writes entry again.
5. xmplay and foxit need no installation, but do write entries, right?
6. Are things in portablefreeware.com really all portable?
7. everest home edition portable? What's the last version of home edition without installion? I downloaded ver2.20.405, but it needs to be installed.

These are portable...

Rainlendar IS portable.

Foxit is ALMOST portable (writes some registry info).

In general, I've found that the stuff on portablefreeware.com is really portable, except where specific mention is made to the contrary (in the "Write settings to": section).

(Don't know about the others)

Thanks man. No one knows others?

Yes, it do write entry. The pop up window just ask if you want to set foxit reader as the default pdf reader. It has nothing to do with the entry.
