I would love to see the current version of blender in portable format. There was an earlier version but that link is dead. Is it possible to make Blender portable??

Just a note, could you please search before you post. Searching is very useful, and will (generally) find you what you'd like to find if it's there - in this case, it's on the first page of results.
There's also another good place for finding out about test releases, here. Blender Portable is on that list, as are all Development Tests and Pre-Releases - this makes a useful place to find tests
