It does Yahoo, Hotmail, Gmail, Libero, Lycos, AOL and mail.com

I saw that, but it doesn't work. It says "WebMail 1.0.5 could not be installed because it is not compatible with this version of Mozilla Thunderbird. (WebMail 1.0.5 will only work with Mozilla Thunderbird versions from 1.4 to 2.0a1)."

can freepops send email?
YPOPS does,
FreePOPs doesn't really send mail. Your email client sends mail, all FreePOPs does is simulate a POP3 server and use Lua scripts to download emails from different servers. You'll be using an SMTP server to send mail. Read through this manual for more information.

i meant to say that it is possibe to send emails within YPOPs alone (via yahoo). no need for another SMTP server.
no more need to enter the settings over and over again
# Moved settings to ypops.ini file instead of Windows registry or Unix flat
file. On startup, the current settings are migrated to the new ypops.ini
file. The .ini file will be located in the folder where YPOPs is started.
