is there anyway you can make your own installer, like only installing firefox, vlc and stuff,
like possible ticking the programs you want install

I think he meant he wants PortableApps.com to have a Suite installer that allows you to select the individual apps to install. Which, as has been discussed many times before, will most likely not be done.
so, what about the updater by MarkoMLM? I've played with it, it fits that need.....
