Idea: Holidays 2009: "Give the gift of portability"

I was just thinking, inspired by another topic, that for the holidays it would be a cool service for PortableApps to customize flash drives for gifts.

I'm aware that a permanent implementation of that idea is pretty much "the goal"; that is, to have a popular flash drive manufacturer like SanDisk or Kingston selling flash drives loaded with the Suite. That's all well and good for down the road, but for the here and now, or at least in time for the holidays, if someone were to buy up a box or two of 2GB flash drives on the cheap, put up a form (list all the apps and put check boxes by 'em), and somebody installs the Platform and those apps, custom for somebody, for a nominal fee.

Granted, anybody could just do it themselves, and many do or will, but still, some people would pay for the convenience, I'd think, and it could 1) raise money for the site and 2) show prospective partners that such a thing would work.
