This would be helpful for those people who are running Transmission from their home machine and would like remote access while they are on the go. Specifically, I am running Transmission from a home server and can access the WebGUI via a browser, but there are more elegant solutions.
There is transmission-remote-gui : http://code.google.com/p/transmisson-remote-gui/
and
transmission-remote-dotnet : http://code.google.com/p/transmission-remote-dotnet/
Please consider making one of these alternatives into a Portable Application. I have no preference which one you choose to use, so pick whichever you feel is easiest.
Thanks a million, this would be a lifesaver.

Since Transmission doesn't support Windows, this wouldn't be useful to 99% of our users, so we wouldn't be interested in doing it. Someone can do it independently or you can ask the TRG devs to do it using our tools.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
Many people use seedboxes running Linux, and this would be a great tool for them. I don't know how many do among the portable apps community, but I'm sure it's more than 1%.
Vintage!
I have unix server and Windows workstation
I need this too--preferably the DotNet one.
This is just a heads up that someone finally bit the bullet and made these two portable, so head on over to https://portableapps.com/node/22082, download and test. I tried them both, and they work fine, though they don't seem to be 100% portable. We could use other testers please, and a second opinion. We need your feedback!
I need this too
Q: Is it possible to run transgui directly from a USB stick?
A: Yes. Just create a folder on your USB stick and copy there the transgui executable file (and, optionally, the lang folder). Then create empty transgui.ini file in that folder. Now you can run the transgui executable directly from the USB stick. All settings will be stored at the stick as well.
=> You only need one folder inside PortableApps folder and put binary and transgui.ini in that
there is http://sourceforge.net/projects/trqtw/ which is an unofficial port of transmission qt interface but also includes option to use a remote version of transmission as well.
