Alternate Rendering of PA's Forum Outline Style

I get the benefits to the way these forums are rendered; independent issues within a thread can be addressed independently of one another by replying to specific posts in the topic. This makes sense if everyone replies to one's issue of interest and not just the last post in the thread. I image the current thread outline is intended to reduce the amount of quoted material. This reduces the length of the thread and minimizes confusion of addressing the posts.

Personally, this is inconvenient when I am looking for the latest comments as they can be anywhere in the thread. It would be easy to have a switch that would render the threads based on post date instead of specific replies. Each reply could address the specific person and post that the reply is intended for in this alternate view.

Why my thoughts are only worth $0.01

This is why people only pay me a penny for my thoughts...

I now see that at the right edge of new posts is this bold, bright, red "New"...

Limits are for people with no imagination.

Plus

Plus there will be a "New" designation in the forum's list of topics or recent posts tracker. If you click that, when the post loads it will jump right to the new comment.
