Did a search for this, but didn't come up with any results on here.
Qtpfsgui is a photo processing software for creating High Dynamic Range (HDR) images. Like GIMP, it does some amazing things that are comparable to commercial software costing hundreds of dollars. It's open source, so I'm assuming it would be eligible to be created as a PortableApp. I've been using it on ubuntu for the past few weeks, and it's quite stable.

Any of the higher-ups on here seen this?
This is an awesome application, and one that's getting used more and more for photo image processing. It would sure be nice to see it as a portable app.
Went to click on link and it is no good, finally found program as Luminance HDR appears windows version is not open source and cost 15 pounds ( euros? not sure)

Sounds like one of those con jobs, where someone starts selling a version of an open source product, much like what has/is happening with Shareaza. They'd better not be charging for the open source version or somebody should alert Sourceforge. I do concur though that the above link appears to be broken but the project still seems to exist on Sourceforge under the old name.
I couldn't really find good documentation on exactly what this tool does. It seems like it's nothing like Gimp, it's more specialized image enhancing tool. Not that there is anything wrong with that, I just don't think I'd have need for such an advanced tool.

Here's the correct link, I'm not sure why the other one quit working: http://qtpfsgui.sourceforge.net/
Qtpfsgui/Luminance is completely open source, and I haven't heard of anybody charging for it. This app creates High Dynamic Range (HDR) photographs out of three shots that are identical compositionally, but have different exposure levels. It's a popular method of processing photographs, and I've seen some nice work from people using this app. It would be great to have a portable version.

It's completely open source. The "buy now" reference is a mistake; that button doesn't even exist on that page. I don't think anybody on this page is selling this software. They probably meant "Download now," which does exist.
I take that back...after reading through the comments, it looked like they were charging windows users. That appears to be gone now, though.
