Well, due to some issue, users are recommended
to update Portable Firefox by new installation.
But which directory should be selected during update installation?
Portable Apps->Firefox Portable?
Or some other in the pen-drive directory tree?
By default Portable Firefox installation selects "\FirefoxPortable"
as the installation folder. What is the root of this path?
To the pen-drive's root? Or C:\Program Files?
What if more than one pen-drives are mounted?
x:\firefoxportable
or if you have the Suite/Platform/Menu
x:\portableapps\firefoxportable
where x=the flash\pen drive's letter that you have your previous version of FireFoxPortable in/on.

Things have got to get better, they can't get worse, or can they?
Thanks for informations.
As default the installer of FirefoxPortable is suggesting
"\FirefoxPortable" as installation target folder.
What is the root of this suggestion?
>where x=the flash\pen drive's letter that you have your previous version of FireFoxPortable in/on.

It does that so you don't accidentally extract it to the current directory and because it couldn't find your existing install. Stick to the supported X:\portableapps\firefoxportable path and every installer you run from here will automatically detect your existing install.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
