Why are these old threads still stickied?

PortableApps.com Update (November 11, 2008)

NOTICE: Scheduled Downtime: April 28 @10AM NY/EDT Time

They were important once upon a time but that is no longer the case. I'm not suggesting they be deleted, just not "stuck".
