I know there's Toucan for encryption, but many users here will know & love the ever powerful and flexible TrueCrypt. Currently on v6.2, and both open source and freeware forever, I'm sure I'd not be the only person to appreciate the inclusion of this utility, pretty well unsurpassed and so widely used.
So, is there any chance...?

Its not the latest version of TrueCrypt and it is still in test.
Once you go portable...
It's nice to see someone's on the case already.
If it's not a stupid question, is it a lot of work to encorporate TrueCrypt into Portable Apps? And once achieved, is it much more work to keep it updated with the latest release?
These questions are not obvious from the end-user point of view!
can be downloaded from truecrypt site, I use it too for some of my sticks.
At work we have the driver installed so all works, but otherwise it is rather restricted use for reasons stated, it needs admin rights, therefore not truly portable.

Just remember though that Truecrypt needs admin rights to mount the encrypted drives.
