What is the true story ?

What is the relationship between the projects of John T. Haller, of SmithTech of Pam mod? Are co-related and always show the platform's apps are not unified, but John would not agree because when it comes to customization? Or are friends of a parallel project, not unified? What is the true history?

The platform of portableapps

The platform of portableapps is more stable than the other, and is only not customizable, platform rmod34 1.5 still has bugs.Mr John could merge the useful to the pleasant.
