I need to use a portable FF on a Mac at the end of the day - morning here.
The download page says for Windows.
If I recall well I had an older version for MAC (v.3.0.0) from Portable apps?
Can you advice. Thanks

I didn't ever recall there being a Mac version here. Can't you copy the standard Firefox stuff to some other folder/drive instead of /Applications and run it from there.
Won't work, different file extensions. No Mac version on portable apps - I was wrong then. I will browse for a FF MAC some place else. Too bad, I like to use portable apps. Thanks.
I wasn't clear I meant download and install the standard Mac version of Firefox onto a drive/folder other than Applications.
There aren't no "extensions" on a Mac per se but each file can have an application associated with it --- this is broader than the Windows concept where all files with the same extension are assumed to be data for a specific program.
you have to go to the portable apps for mac site:

Thanks for the reminder Otto, that's the place my outdated FF version was from.
