Thanks for bringing Hedgewars to my attention. I've always loved Worms, but it won't run on XP (at least the version I have)! I've thrown together an installer, and I'll upload it after I do some testing.

I recently discovered those open-source games as well, and was amazed at how quickly some open-source games have developed into really professional games. Some others I found:
