Our live support

Our live support is now no longer working, due to Freenode deciding to ban the use of mibbit of their network. See here for more information: http://freenode.net/news.php

This means that:
A. We have to find a new client to use for out live support (meaning all our regulars who use mibbit have to get used to something new)
B. We have to switch to a different server (not really feasible either imho)

As you can understand, both aren't things we wanna do.
Either way, we need to fix this, and fast, as for now live support is no longer accessible through our page for it.

If anyone has any ideas/alternatives, please leave a post.

EDIT: JTH changed the page to use the freenode one, and it works fine again now.

This is most certainly an issue. I would have to say our best bet would be to find another client to use for our support. It's really an unfortunate thing, but we need to find a way around it, Freenode's new client can be embedded just like mibbit though, so that's probably a good option.

Ah, found a way to do random nicks.
This should work: http://webchat.freenode.net/?nick=pa_....&channels=#portableapps

It Does

It does, I read the documentation and have it set to work just like mibbit from a user perspective.

Updated to Freenode

I've updated the embedded client to freenode. Sized it the same as our old mibbit client was. And pre-configured it to connect to #portableapps and provide a default name of pa_#### the way mibbit did. It doesn't appear to be themeable the way mibbit is, but it doesn't look too bad.

Thanks John! At least we caught it early...they could've given us a bit of notice though.
