I would like to see this made portable. I think it's very useful for movie freaks, like me.
I already used the program long time ago and remembered it right now in this moment, as a friend of mine gave me a DVD back, that I nearly had forgotten, that she had it!!
Description:
Ant Movie Catalog is a free (really free, i.e. the source code is available) program made to manage your collection of movies on DVD, CD (VideoCD, DivX, ...) and tapes.
A small qoute from the devs site:
"This program is free software; you can redistribute it and/or modify it under the terms of the GNU General Public License as published by the Free Software Foundation; either version 2 of the License, or (at your option) any later version."
I would say: "Yeeeeeeeeeeehaaaaaaaaaaaa!"
So this is the link to the software:
I like this app myself and used it for quite a while until about 8 months ago. I then moved to Personal Video Database which just looking at I notice now has a PortableApps Installer = ) Anyone willing to give it a good look over to see if this solid? I can confirm it functions at least.
For Ant movie Catalog however I noticed this on the page you linked to "Requires Borland Delphi 7 Professional or Entreprise with Update 1". Not sure if this is for building the app from the source or if it is required to use it at all. Anyone else care to inform?

OK, I checked PVD and like it much better. It has even more info to put in for every movie. I just wonder how it comes, that there's a PortableApp Installer on the devs site... Hmm...
"Borland Delphi 7 Professional or Entreprise with Update 1" is only needed to comnpile. At least I think it's like that, because I don't have it installed on my system.
