BonkEnc

Hi,

I configured the encoder and it changed the default language and I don't know how to get it back.

Is this a known issue?

Also, what happened to mp3?

Thanks

MP3 Plugin

MP3 is a plugin available on the BonkEnc homepage:

Thanks John, I understand it

Thanks John,

I understand it is not packaged, similar to other softs due to copyright, but what about the changing language?

Is that a bug?

Menu?

Are you using the menu to launch BonkEnc Portable?
If yes, disable automatic app language switching (look at Support for instructions).

hey bart, all I did was change the encoder and it changed the language as well.

Strange really don't you think, then when I opened it again the language was default english whatever flavour.

Thank you

Perhaps a special, more prominent note

about your *having* to download this extra would be in place?

After all, all the BonkEnc documentation takes for granted this MP3 encoder is there.

Only after running in frustrating circles for quite a while did I get the idea to go back here and browse the forum for possible reports about things not working as they should.

I'm guessing I'm not alone.

Point Taken

In fairness the BonkEnc page does state next to the "MP3" item that you have to "download a plugin", granted this isn't entirely obvious but this is never-the-less a strong hint. Having said that I certainly wouldn't hurt to make it even more apparent.
