lost extensions after copy

When FFP is copied from one place to other, all extensions seem to be lost, thought they look like they are still in place. This happends even when the new path has same length or just the drive letter chnages by this. All works but the extensions.

Yeah, I remember vaguely...

Now that you mention it, I remember something like that happening when I copied new FFP 3.5 from one partition to another. Almost all add-ons on the add-ons list were shown as incompatible again, though I had updated them shortly before on the other partition, where they worked. The problem got quickly solved, I seem to remember, through going through the routine update procedure (of the add-ons only) again and then a restart of FF.

BTW, some of the add-ons that had no update available, I had "updated" only manually (changed "max. version" to 3.5 in the install.rdf file) and though there was no real update online for those, after the routine update procedure (of the add-ons list) those, too, worked again on the other partition. Luckily, I don't cary FFP 3.5 around with me, so as to go through that experience time and again. Wink
