Wow, that took some finding

I agree that TheGuide is an excellent hierarchical note-taking app. I know this because I use it.... a portable version, in fact, but it took some finding to work out where I'd got it.

There is a beta available here on-site, at https://portableapps.com/node/18946

I've been using it for a while, and it seems fine (I really should say that in the beta thread).

I'm confused.

The Guides home page shows that the software can portablise itself. Is that different to what's going on here?
